Horizon is a privately held company. Ninety-six percent (96%) of the shares are owned by Aristide Tsaldaris and four percent (4%) by Mrs Thalia Martakis.

Horizon was founded in 1948. It emerged as a pioneer in offering cruises and specialized group tours throughout Greece. Our company carefully grew, building a solid foundation that allowed for future strength and diversity.

Horizon Corporation – best known for Horizon Travel – has become a closely linked family of divisions that deliver a full line of travel, performance improvement, hotel property management and corporate relocation services. One of the most important divisions, around which we have built our reputation, is the Inbound division.

For more than 60 years Horizon has handled inbound programs to Greece, the Greekc Islands and Turkey. Our team has become the “eyes and ears” of these destinations, recognized for providing the highest quality group and individual travel services.

Although we are equally experienced with incentive travel, cruises and yachting, meetings, conventions and exhibitions, our core inbound business is incentives. Over the last three years approximately 40-42% of our business has come from the North American market, for which we offer:
